Metz Metropole and the Centre Pompidou aim to achieve two ambitions:
- Through this first major example of cultural decentralisation in France, reach a milestone in the external distribution policy launched by the Centre Pompidou in 1997 and create a new place of culture to prolong the adventure.
- Provide Metz Metropole and the Lorraine region with a major cultural centre to make the city more attractive, in line with 20 years of development initiatives that have been successful thanks to new technologies and culture in particular.
